Delete your Planz account

You can delete your Planz account and its data at any time. Planz is run by Friction FZE LLC.

In the app

Open Planz and go to You.
Open Settings.
Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Without the app

Email us from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Planz account”. We confirm it is you, then delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete in the app, it happens straight away and cannot be undone. Your account and profile are deleted for good. That includes your name, username, date of birth, neighbourhood, interests, sign-in details and settings.

What we keep

Messages you sent stay in their chats, shown as from “Deleted user”.
Plans you hosted stay for the people in them, under “Deleted user”. Upcoming ones are cancelled.
Circles you own pass to another member if there is one.
Safety reports are kept as long as needed for safety, with your name replaced by “Deleted user”.
